Arkansas Small Business & Nonprofit Solutions

ASBNS was founded in 2024 to provide personalized support for businesses and nonprofit organizations in the community. From bringing in more funding to saving existing money, our goal is to help organizations operate more efficiently and effectively.

I was born and raised in Central Arkansas. I grew up volunteering in the community, and it's a dream to work alongside nonprofit organizations in a meaningful way.

Education
2013 Bachelors in Biology, University of Central Arkansas
2016 Masters in Biology, University of Central Arkansas
Current Dual Doctorate in Biology and Neuroscience, Indiana University

Experience
I've been writing grants for approximately 10 years and managing data for 12 years. My experience comes primarily from working for universities, where I focused on designing and leading research studies, grant writing, and data analysis. I've also worked for the Arkansas state government as a Grant & Data Engineer Manager, and was responsible for approximately $22M in federally-allocated grant awards.

More about me
I'm currently wrapping up the final edits of my PhD. My PhD dissertation focuses on maternal microbial transfer to infants following birth, and how potential disruptions to microbial transfer (such as antibiotic administration and caesarean section) affect the immunity, hormones, and behavior of infants. My hope is that my research can be helpful in improving both immediate and long-lasting health outcomes for children.
